DIGITAL DESIGNER (Remote)

 

ASICS Digital creates and brings to market cutting-edge digital consumer content for the ASICS brand. We are currently seeking a mid-level digital designer to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital creative and can work collaboratively to solve design problems and present options.


As a member of the creative team, this designer will play a vital role in successfully integrating the ASICS brand across digital touchpoints. The role will be a part of an in-house creative team supporting our global ASICS network. The ideal candidate is able to execute projects quickly, precisely and independently, while collaborating with other digital designers, copywriters and marketers. Resourcefulness, attention to detail and process-mindedness is a must, as well as the ability to solve problems and remain flexible.




 

Requirements:

  •  Work on major ASICS brand and product campaigns execution.
  • Play a key role in driving and bringing to life the creative strategy behind our membership program, OneASICS.
  • Present creative work to key stakeholders throughout the ASICS organization.
  • Work with the creative team (digital designers, copywriters, project managers, associate creative director) to execute on designs for a variety of digital assets across multiple global markets: web pages, microsites, emails, web banners, social and more.
  • Create from-scratch campaign concepts, in collaboration with your fellow teammates, and expertly present and sell your ideas.

Responsibilities:

  •  Minimum 5 years' experience as a digital designer at an in-house or external agency environment.
  • Exemplary collaboration skills: working closely with a copywriter should be your go-to setting.
  • Strong attention to detail—you don’t just create beautiful work, you deliver it on time and mistake-free.
  • Strategic acumen—you always execute against the brief, but you know how to make the work even better.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Advanced understanding of typography, visual hierarchy and layout.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work on multiple projects under tight deadlines and QA work thoroughly.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and excellent time-management skills.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS and front-end web technologies a plus.
  • Experience animating in Photoshop, After Effects or other video platforms a plus.
  • Experience with Workfront and Figma a plus.
  • Print and Retail design experience a plus.
