ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior Digital Art Director, you’ll be a part of a team that pushes boundaries, is obsessed with ideas, and champions out-of-the-box thinking. Working seamlessly as part of a passionate, multi-disciplinary group, you'll have the opportunity to produce head-turning work that drives consumer engagement and builds emotional connections. From managing photo shoots to leading designs in a space where digital and innovation meet customer experience, you’ll wear many hats and be responsible for all aspects of the visual creative.
This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, driving ideation and execution within various digital and innovation spaces.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret briefs in order to create designs that are strategically driven, thought-provoking and compelling - not just "pretty"
- Works and collaborates with the creative team and internal partners to bring big ideas and designs to life
- Support and own the creative process from original concepts to final implementation
- Think conceptually and strategically to discover the best way to problem-solve for design and technical challenges
- Maintain knowledge and skills of creative applications, staying on top of new and evolving technology
- Manage and balance multiple jobs and projects daily, meets timelines and expectations, while measuring and improving efficiency
- Be a constant learner, with a passion for actively keeping ahead of the curve and exploring digital tools, trends/standard methodologies, and styles, as well as advertising and design styles
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 4+ years working as an art director (in digital, site, informational design, etc.)
- Proficient in Sketch, Figma, Abstract, and the Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledgeable and able to flex between art direction and digital design
- Ability to quickly ideate and visualize raw ideas, and help implement your designs to pixel perfection
- Have critical attention to detail while not missing the big picture
- Loves presenting and pitching to clients and internal teams, able to inspire others and sell creative vision
- Work within accessibility standards
- Prep and deliver pixel-perfect files for delivery
- Strong portfolio with examples of recent digital projects demonstrating creative thinking and flawless execution
- Bonus points for past work on digital/atomic design systems
