The Central Product Creative team provide the foundation to inspire the inspirers. We are a new organization within Product Design at NIKE. It is the first wave creative group that sets and translates Creative Direction for product, providing progressive annual and seasonal creative edges, design trends, concepts and end to end strategies. We define the Central Product Creative Direction, which enables a consistent and uniquely-Nike consumer experience.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a hardworking and creative Designer II for Print & Pattern. In this role, you will work in a highly creative, energetic, and inclusive team that crafts the Nike P+P story for each season. You support the Season Narrative through research of print trends and style with explorations aligned to the Creative Direction. You collaborate with activity groups to align on a unified seasonal Nike Print & Pattern voice. You implement Print & Pattern direction that is brand and gender relevant to the activity group and serves the Consumer.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you will play a key role in getting Prints & Pattern onto Nike products. You will lead seasonal work as the point person with product creation activity groups across footwear, apparel and accessories, to bring brand fidelity and synergy to Print & Pattern. You build artwork, demonstrating expert knowledge of print applications, achievability and production methods. You provide well effective and efficient solutions on design, production, application issues. You will work with Print Designers to build repeats, schematics, color work for print production. A key function of this role, will be to main and foster healthy and positive relationships within the broader Design community. This role is creative with a secondary focus on production.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will report to the Design Director of Print & Pattern. This is a highly visible role that collaborates closely with Color, Apparel, and Graphic designers across all Nike product creation teams. You will work with Design counterparts and the Design Director of Print & Pattern in bringing the Print & Pattern seasonal narrative to life.

WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Design or combination of relevant education, experience, and training

- Minimum 5 years of design experience in agency or in-house setting

- Comprehensive understanding of Nike Design Ethos, the Voice & Vibe of the brand.

- Expert in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator

- Understanding the translation of P+P onto 3D product and on to the body (using physical and digital tools)

- Connection and understanding of color theory and usage for manufacturing and for representation of critical narratives within functional teams

- Understanding multiple print and textile processes and how to approach with design solutions

- NIKE Design and Brand understanding

- A thirst to learn software and technical requirements to bring print and pattern to life

- Wiling to dive deep in understanding the Nike Consumer and athlete by gender

- Familiar with fashion + street trend and subculture

- Knows sport culture

- Strong organizational, communication, time management skills

- Optimism and positivity

- Collaborative and inclusive spirit

- Ability to drive collaboration

- Passion for creativity and design
