The FLASH Creative Director will lead and build a new creative function within the Marketing team disrupting the mobility industry and creating a new category. We are a growing band of idealists, realists, dreamers and dissenters. We believe there’s a better way – from the mobility technology we develop to the customers we support – and we live for experimentation.

We’re looking for a Creative Director to challenge the accepted and partner with us to elevate ideas that break the mold. The Creative Director is a lightning rod for creative ideation across the organization and catalyzes ideation into reality. Critical to that is a Creative Director who understands the value data has in the creative development and optimization process. This role reports to the VP of Marketing.

What you'll do

  • Develop and deliver thought leadership and creative solutions that strengthen FLASH’s market position and business results; responsible for articulating and defending conceptual and directional choices.
  • Promote continual creative improvement and actively contributes to a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability.
  • Conceive and create disruptive brand and action-oriented creative assets that answer strategic business objectives and product launches.
  • Inspire and motivate FLASH’s content and brand teams and serve as overall creative lead, managing creative teams on and through all creative engagements.
  • Expert in digital creative formats and storytelling.
  • Direct all phases of work from concept through production.
  • Mentor and lead junior creative staff through critique and coaching to maintain consistent creative quality to the FLASH standards.
  • Partner and collaborate with the Marketing team and cross-functional teams (Executive, Product, Sales, Partnerships) to provide best-in-class thinking in service of FLASH’s vision.

What you bring to the table

  • 10+ years of experience leading and delivering breakthrough creative, with a focus on digital and innovative solutions and strategies.
  • Experience building, recruiting for and maintaining a talent pipeline for a growing creative team
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, interpersonal skills, to clearly communicate and lead diverse, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in design or equivalent professional experience.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates range across conceptual, campaign, marketing and/or storytelling.
  • Curiosity: incessantly learning, questioning and testing.
  • Lover of ambiguity: finding the beauty and opportunity in the gray.
  • Adaptability: being a constant work in progress and always looking to improve.
