ABOUT THE ROLE ?

 

As a member of the growth team and reporting to VP of Growth, you will be the central hub around which all offline creative projects revolve. Working hand in hand with our Director of Offline Media Buying, you will develop the roadmap for offline ad production and testing on channels like TV, Billboards, Busses, Taxis, Subways, Direct Mail, Podcast etc, all with a direct-response first approach. You will lead the ideation and production of all offline creatives from end to end, and will collaborate with all of our creative talents in-house to bring ideas to life with flawless execution.

SPECIFICALLY, YOU WILL:

  • Craft the best in class offline creative direction for Truebill that goes beyond getting our name out there and converts people efficiently.
  • Stay on top of all offline creative needs for our core spend as well as experimental channels working closely with the offline media buying team.
  • Be able to roll up your sleeves and design creatives in figma when needed, but also collaborate efficiently with the rest of the creative team to both ideate and bring ideas to life.
  • Manage an increasing number of projects simultaneously while deepening the scope on each project as we test and learn. Your day to day can shift from working on a quick-turnaround last minute billboard creative, to moving along months-long broadcast TV spots, to planning for the next round of Direct Mail concepts.
  • Be curious about how every single ad converts. Documenting each offline creative test along with the results, you will incorporate learnings into each phase of iteration and make it your mission to crack the code on producing ads that convert.
  • Be eager to learn from low performing ads as much as you learn from heavy hitters across all channels. Learning from every step of the way, you will build our in-house knowledge of how to make best in class offline direct-response ads.
  • Clearly communicate with the Creative and Media Buying teams as well as external vendors to properly set expectations for upcoming work, and deliver final assets on time.

 

ABOUT YOU ?

 

  • 5+ years experience producing professional grade offline ads for paid acquisition teams and a desire to explore the wildest possibilities of offline media.
  • Self-starter and naturally curious. You feel a deep need to understand the underlying reasons why people react to copy/visuals the way they do in order to reverse engineer their thinking process and produce ads that convert.
  • Enjoys debates and challenging conversations around the creative process. Keeps a beginner’s mind approach to everything and is not afraid of shifting directions frequently to address the ever-changing consumer trends.
  • Has a strong POV on all core offline channels with experience tailoring different messages according to placement and audience.
  • Highly motivated team player. Collaborates effortlessly internally and externally.
  • Naturally excited about organizing an ever-changing web of dependent tasks, welcoming changes and last minute curve balls.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, paired with great judgement to gauge the scope of work needed on each project to run an efficient workflow.
  • A strong desire to contribute to the creation of a diverse body of work that moves the needle within an exciting, fast growing company.
