We believe that the future of transportation is automated. Automated travel will be safer, more comfortable, more efficient and a powerful economic enabler for our communities. However, automating driving is a massively complex engineering challenge, requiring vehicles to navigate social norms, regional traffic patterns, unpredictable weather incidents, and a host of anomalous events. While billions of dollars have already been spent trying to solve this problem, a comprehensive answer remains frustratingly elusive. We believe that the final answer lies with roadway infrastructure.
Join us in building the roads of the future. Cavnue, which recently announced the closing of its Series A at $130M , is bridging technology and road infrastructure to realize a safer, more efficient, and more accessible future for automated transportation. Cavnue's experienced team sits at the intersection of technology, infrastructure, and government-working together to develop and deploy the world's most advanced roads. We are incorporating physical and digital infrastructure that unlock the full spectrum of capabilities of current and future automated vehicle technologies. We believe in a world in which road infrastructure shares in the complexity of autonomy and, instead of being another problem to solve for, becomes a core part of the solution.

An Insider's view of Cavnue

How would you describe the company’s work-life balance?

Couldn’t be better! Having worked for several companies in my career, I can honestly say that Cavnue’s work-life balance has been by far the best one. They allow you to design your work schedule in a way that accommodates your needs and the leadership team is very understanding and supportive of your time outside of work.

Roadway Design Engineer

What's the biggest problem your team is solving?

We spend most of our time thinking about questions like - What should the future of road transportation look like and how will we build it? How can our infrastructure form a symbiotic relationship with automated driving technologies? How can we make road transportation more efficient, safer, and a better experience?

Director, Product Management

What makes someone successful on your team?

Our teammates are motivated by a shared purpose as well as a desire to have an outsized impact - both within our company and on our industry as a whole. Successful "Cavaneers" prioritize the company’s mission, collaborate across functions (including Technology, Product, and Commercial teams), and deliver tangible outcomes.

Director, Business Development

How do you make yourself accessible to the rest of the team?

The team and our people are my top priority. I always close the loop. Emails, slack, texts, calls - even if I’m not available in the moment, I will let folks know when I can get back to them or who is best to help them. I strive to have no dead-ends as we navigate together through this journey.

SVP, Programs & Operations

How would you describe the company’s work-life balance?

We work hard at Cavnue - what we're doing requires effort, focus, and drive. That said, I have found that there is not only flexibility in how and where you get your work done, but ultimately there is respect for the things we do outside of work.
