Description

As the Associate Creative Director you are helping to lead the creative team across multiple channels. You have a great understanding of the traditional, experiential, and live events with the ability to create integrated campaigns across multiple channels. You are a mentor, and provide clear, constructive feedback to your peers and outside vendors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with marketing teams, leading creative direction and solving creative challenges
  • Work in partnership with outside vendors and design resources to extend campaigns, photography, and design work
  • Develop concept rationales for campaigns and projects
  • Create concepts, storyboards, layouts, and final file production
  • Present concepts to internal teams
  • Direct and supervise a creative team - providing comprehensive strategy, art direction, and delivering bold design thinking at a very high level
  • Work closely with Creative and Marketing teams to ensure campaigns are on-brief and on-time
  • Maintain consistent visual tone and brand alignment across all touchpoints
  • Review printed proofs for accuracy and final sign-off
  • Provide creative guidance to other Creative Team staff
  • Collaborate with a team and work autonomously
  • Follow workflows, processes, and brand guidelines, but suggest improvements when necessary
  • Manage feedback and requested changes with little supervision
  • Take direction and critique well
  • Meet daily and weekly deadlines for multiple projects at varying stages of completion
  • Manage project files, assets, and outputs through to completion



Requirements

  • 10+ years experience designing in an agency environment - emphasis on all media channels and deliverables
  • MAC mastery of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Expert understanding of printing techniques and production processes
  • Knowledge of experiential marketing and live events
  • Familiarity with the processes and technical requirements for web media, email media, and video
  • Background in art directing video and photography projects including onsite art direction.
  • Versatility and conceptual thinking
  • Expert ability to present creative to marketing or outside vendors
  • Ability to grasp concepts and instructions quickly
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks, and successfully meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail



Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in visual communication such as graphic design

Experience: 10+ years of experience, preferably with some agency experience and team management required

Additional Requirements:

Managerial Responsibilities: No

Travel Requirements: Limited travel regionally and nationally

Physical Requirements: Office position requiring telephone and computer use. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds for displays, samples and other marketing materials
