Job Description

Position Overview:

We are looking for someone with illustration and/or animation experience to join the video production team to help direct high-quality, engaging videos.

Our ideal candidate will:

• Conceptualize and direct videos
• Source actors, illustrators, animators, video editors, etc.
• Create animatics and/or storyboards
• Assemble and color grade footage
• Curate and organize media assets, while tracking intellectual property
• Assist in coordinating studio shoots
• Script supervise during studio sessions
• Manage accessibility through subtitle and caption creation
• Export all needed deliverables
• Manage video production for the Week In Rap series

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience creating video
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects
• Understanding of video codecs and delivery standards
• Bonus for illustration, animation, and sound editing skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
