YOUR MISSION

  • This role supports the COBRA PUMA GOLF brand located in Carlsbad, CA.
  • Create concepts and designs to meet internally briefed requirements.
  • Design in-store displays, digital executions, social assets and print materials at superb level aesthetically and technically.
  • Manage catalog design and production for both COBRA and PUMA Golf, working with production designers and brand managers.
  • Familiarity with print production and processes, in order to properly set up files for print.
  • Communicate with senior team members to clarify project specifications and feedback.
  • Draw upon extensive knowledge and skills to produce high quality results.
  • Provide helpful, insightful & appropriate design input to other creative team members.
  • Plan, organize, delegate and participate within the design team.
  • Guide and mentor other designers on technique and creative content
  • Demonstrate high level of understanding of brand directives
  • Prepare finished layout for digital and/or print output.
  • Assist in the overall long-term creative direction of the brand's communications.



YOUR TALENT

  • At least 2-3 years of agency or similar experience in a creative design role
  • Innovative creative thinking ability
  • Open communication/good listening skills
  • Strong ability to communicate a creative concept
  • Developing knowledge of advertising and creative communications
  • Domestic and international market exposure
  • Meticulous design ability including an understanding of color and composition
  • Proficient software skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • HTML5 experience and knowledge about the capabilities of web browsers a plus
  • Simple photography skills a plus, but not required
  • General awareness and knowledge of the golf product category
  • High initiative, high energy, confidence, passion for the job, decisive eye for detail
