Art Director - Healthcare
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is looking for an Art Director to join our in-house creative team and work side-by-side with passionate pet lovers. The ideal candidate, will be well-versed in current design trends, has a solid understanding of omni-channel creative, with a strong track record of Art Directing and delivering high impact creative campaigns, visual centers and ad hoc projects for both B2B and B2C audiences with expertise in digital products and services, ideally in Healthcare, Wellness, and Pharmaceutical Industry(ies).
What you'll do:
- You’ll be a self-starting creator with the ability to perform at a high level within a fast-paced, collaborative, ever-changing environment.
- Lead and execute various creative digital and print projects including promotional campaigns, landing pages, email, banners, print collateral, packaging and more
- Deliver stellar, pixel-perfect design that exhibit your creative abilities and mastery of fundamentals for digital and traditional media.
- Work cross-functionally and within the team to participate in all stages of the design process
- Communicate timelines and status,
- Ensure the appropriate concepts, themes and messages are represented and present to key stakeholders.
What you'll need:
As an Art Director at Chewy you will need an eye for quality, a thirst for growth and the maturity to be a flexible member of the team. You’ll need to manage strong and effective internal partnerships and be able to thrive in a deadline driven environment. You will also provide support during various team challenges and should also possess the ability to professionally and constructively troubleshoot and pivot as needed with positivity to create and maintain a safe, friendly, pet-centric working environment.
- Close attention to detail.
- Great eye for design, trends and emerging techniques.
- Great eye for photography and be able to provide clear and concise direction for shoots.
- Both print and digital production knowledge.
- Solid typography, layout and composition skills.
- Minimum of 5 years designing for an agency or brand.
- Able to work independently to meet and exceed goals.
- Flexible, able to pivot based on project requirements and changes in scope.
- Deliver to a high bar of quality and consistency of deliverables
- Capable of responding to Creative Director and Stakeholder’s requests fluidly.
- Ability to apply Chewy style guide standards.
- Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to adapt.
- Ability to problem solve and develop multiple creative solutions that meet the brief.
- Collaborative relationship builder.
