Due to tremendous growth, we are looking for a highly talented and courageously creative 3D Character Animator to bring human soft surface models to to life in rich environments for our medical simulation. In this role, you will work with our dedicated VR Studios and Engineering teams to coordinate and track deliverables, provide expert knowledge to increase our software’s quality, and learn all phases of the software development cycle.

Responsibilities:

• Create high quality animations for characters and inanimate objects
• Collaborate with other disciplines to create a cohesive vision and experience
• Implement animation assets into Unity and iterate as needed
• Organize and accurately estimate animation tasks

Requirements:

• 2+ years’ experience animating characters in the video game industry
• Expertise with animating and rigging in 3dsMax / Maya
• Expertise with Unity game engine (importing assets, animation editor, particle system)
• The ability to effectively communicate, both creatively and technically
• Motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and self-direct them to completion to meet fast-paced deadlines with little supervision
• Must be able to provide a demo reel or examples of professional work, a breakdown of your contributions to the shot, and an accompanying resume

What We Offer:

The base salary range for this position is expected to be between $65K and $80K, with the actual base salary amount dependent on a number of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s credentials, relevant experience, and primary job location. In addition to salary this role will be eligible for additional company benefits such as stock options, 401(k), paid vacation and sick time, and medical/dental/vision insurance.
