About the Role

We are looking for a talented Associate Designer to join our Design Systems team in Budapest. You will work closely with the VP Designer and the broader design systems group to support the execution and scaling of our design system. Your role will help raise design maturity, ensure consistency, and deliver high-quality UI components, documentation, and experiences across our brands.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys both doing design work and helping ensure process, quality, and scale in design system output.

What You’ll Do

  • Component Design & Execution: Build, maintain, and refine UI components, visual patterns, and design assets that form part of the design system.

  • Design System Support & Scale: Assist in system audits, reuse of components, creation of new patterns, versioning, and ensuring that designs scale smoothly across products/brands.

  • Documentation & Guidelines: Maintain and update style guides, usage guidelines, pattern libraries; help ensure documentation is up-to-date and useful for designers and engineers.

  • Design QA & Consistency: Participate in design reviews, provide feedback, catch inconsistencies, ensure adherence to accessibility and usability standards.

  • Collaboration & Handoff: Work tightly with engineers, product managers, and other designers to ensure your designs are implemented faithfully; help with prototyping, design-to-code handoffs, and aligning design and implementation.

  • Learning & Tooling: Grow your skills in design tooling (e.g. Figma), design tokens, component libraries, workflows, and best practices. Be proactive in suggesting improvements or efficiencies.

Who You Are

  • You have ~1-3 years of experience in UI/design, preferably with exposure to or interest in design systems.

  • Strong visual design skills: you care about typography, spacing, layout, polish. You enjoy detail and refine design until it’s clean and consistent.

  • Proficient with modern design tools (Figma ideally), comfortable building and using components, prototypes.

  • You understand, or are eager to learn, accessibility, usability, inclusive design, responsive design.

  • A good communicator: you can take feedback, present ideas, work with engineering and product teams to ensure designs are practical and well implemented.

  • Curious, organized, and enthusiastic about growing design system maturity, both in craft and in process.

 Our hybrid work model
