Our Mission

Reflection’s mission is to build open superintelligence and make it accessible to all.

We’re developing open weight models for individuals, agents, enterprises, and even nation states. Our team of AI researchers and company builders come from DeepMind, OpenAI, Google Brain, Meta, Character.AI, Anthropic and beyond.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Deployment Strategist to lead our engagement with U.S. government agencies and public institutions. You will drive the adoption of Reflection’s technology by owning the end-to-end AI deployment lifecycle, from identifying high-value use cases to driving organizational change management. This role blends strategic advisory for executive stakeholders with hands-on deployment support, working closely with our Account Executives and Forward Deployed Engineers to deliver tangible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support pre-sales engagements, build compelling demos, and conduct executive discovery workshops with public sector organizations to uncover high-impact AI use cases and shape adoption roadmaps.

  • Immerse yourself in customer workflows to identify key pain points, and co-design proof-of-concepts that demonstrate measurable ROI.

  • Manage pilot programs end-to-end, including stakeholder alignment, milestone delivery, risk mitigation, and overall coordination across Reflection engineering and client teams.

  • Develop and execute strategies that embed our AI solutions into core business workflows and ensure lasting adoption.

  • Partner with Account Executives to convert pilot success into scaled adoption and drive long-term expansion with agencies.

  • Capture customer feedback to inform our research and product development priorities and ensure alignment with public-sector needs.

Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in management consulting, digital transformation, or technical program delivery, ideally supporting U.S. agencies or other public institutions.

  • Proven success leading complex programs with public agencies or in regulated environments (e.g., defense, infrastructure, education).

  • Ability to bridge business strategy and technical implementation with clear, impactful communication at all levels.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience advising public-sector executives.

  • Energized by ambiguity with proven ability to drive organizational change and guide customers from concept to adoption.

  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and public-sector IT architecture, including security, privacy, and data governance.

  • Hands-on experience with Python, data analysis, and working with LLMs.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, with an active security clearance or the ability to obtain one.

What We Offer:

We believe that to build superintelligence that is truly open, you need to start at the foundation. Joining Reflection means building from the ground up as part of a small talent-dense team. You will help define our future as a company, and help define the frontier of open foundational models.

We want you to do the most impactful work of your career with the confidence that you and the people you care about most are supported.

  • Top-tier compensation: Salary and equity structured to recognize and retain the best talent globally.

  • Health & wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.

What We Do

Reflection was founded by former DeepMind and OpenAI researchers to build superintelligent coding agents. We previously built the most powerful LLM (ChatGPT, Gemini) and agent (AlphaGo, AlphaZero) systems in the world.

Reflection’s mission is to build superhuman coding agents. Today’s language models are powerful, but they fall short when it comes to tasks that require acting over many steps. The reason is simple. These models were never trained for autonomy. Our goal is to create the most capable and reliable coding agents in the world. Our product is a Coding Agent API that helps automate rote engineering work.
