Job Description:

You feel at home in the agency world, want to champion Diversity excellence, and spearhead impactful initiatives? Then we are looking for you as DEI Manager EMEA (m/f/d) to strengthen our team in DACH. 

Joining a team of DEI professionals the purpose of this role is to define, develop and refine DEI strategies and initiatives that redesign 'how we do things' by delivering local and regional programmes and initiatives that embeds DEI into our daily processes and delivers our EMEA and global DEI ambitions. 

YOUR Job at dentsu: 

  • Partner with the EMEA CEqO to drive the DACH DEI strategy and motto ‘Everybody is Welcome’, by supporting the design and execution of programmes and initiatives that deliver against our agreed KPIs. 

  • Provide subject matter expertise, advice guidance and support for colleagues, working closely with business and functional leaders to develop and execute local/targeted DEI strategies that supports our people, our clients and our communities. 

  • Engage and support local and regional ERGs with plans and events across the D&I calendar to drive greater awareness, education and engagement for diversity and inclusion 

  • Collaborate and share best practices of work across EMEA, encouraging innovation and impact in DEI as One Dentsu for our colleagues, clients and communities 

  • Partner and influence colleagues across HR to drive change across the HR function to own and work together to ensure DEI is embedded into our talent strategies to attract, develop, motivate and retain diverse talent. 

  • Leverage employee listening insights with local teams across the region to better understand the employee experience of diverse employees. Partner with relevant teams to implement the actions and measures we need to put in place to ensure we continue to drive positive change. 

  • Support analysis and reporting for DEI within the region, partnering with the regional BI and people insights team to track and report against agreed DEI measures and support the DEI reporting cycles with our Social Impact and Communications teams 

  • Partner with identified external partnerships and participate on/at councils, conferences, task forces etc. to strengthen internal DEI solutions and impact within our organisation 

 

Professional Skills 

  • Proven and relevant track record of operating within large, complex global organisations, with experience in developing and executing DEI strategies, initiatives and programmes to make a sustainable impact. 

  • Experience of working in DEI within organisations to continuously bring best practice and thought leadership ideas in to the organisation, develop long-term partnerships and solutions that drive change 

  • Ability to demonstrate leadership maturity and leverage a wide variety of relationships with key thought leaders at all levels of the organisation to establish sponsorship and credibility for DEI initiatives 

  • Experienced in using data analytics, insights and research on DEI best practices and benchmarks to influence decision making, demonstrate progress and performance and identify key areas for future focus or attention and oversee the design and implementation of relevant DEI strategies

  • Experience of working in DEI within organisations to continuously bring best practice and thought leadership ideas in to the organisation, develop long-term partnerships and solutions that drive change 

  • Ability to demonstrate leadership maturity and leverage a wide variety of relationships with key thought leaders at all levels of the organisation to establish sponsorship and credibility for DEI initiatives 

  • Experienced in using data analytics, insights and research on DEI best practices and benchmarks to influence decision making, demonstrate progress and performance and identify key areas for future focus or attention and oversee the design and implementation of relevant DEI strategies 

  • Track record in collaborating and building relationships across teams, with exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills (curating content for internal and external audiences) at varying levels 

  • Experienced in supporting ERGs and Inclusion committees to deliver positive change, provifing oversight and governance to DEI champions that ensures activities deliver impact and are aligned to local, regional or global priorities 

  • Understands and has experience of working with external client populations and assess where there are opportunities to strengthen and improve our partnerships from a DEI lens 

  • Strong communication skills in German and English as well as strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
