Job Description
Workforce Analytics Manager
At FIS, you'll have the opportunity to work on some of the most challenging and relevant issues in financial services and technology. Our talented people empower us, and we believe in being part of a team that is open, collaborative, entrepreneurial, passionate and above all - fun.
About the team
The global Workforce Analytics team focuses on understanding strategic business initiatives and connecting them to talent opportunities. We're focused on using data to measure how well we attract, develop and retain the right people, in the right places, at the right time.
What you will be doing
Your main objective is to manage a team of Workforce Analysts and devise methods to use data in effective decision making. To be successful, you will establish relationships across The People Office to understand strategic talent objectives, become proficient in data across all people systems (e.g. Workday, Visier, Glint, etc.) and synthesize data into actionable insights that inform decisions around hiring, developing and retaining a diverse workforce. You will regularly oversee the construction of complex models designed to go beyond our core analytics capabilities.
You are very technical in nature and can decode workforce data and assess the potential impact it can have on organizational goals. You don't settle for the first answer or explanation. Instead, you dig deep to identify the root cause of issues and provide fact-based solutions that are directly aligned with outcomes. You go beyond metrics to create unique strategies that tell engaging stories with data.
Core Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of analysts and guide them on ways to effectively combine data from disparate systems, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative attributes to build holistic views of talent objectives. Interpret results, provide insights and recommend actions to stakeholders.
  • Meet with global talent leaders to assess Workforce Analytics needs. Ask the right questions, determine whether a problem exists and examine your workforce intelligence applications for trends and evidence that could support actions that solve problems.
  • Coach your team to better understand talent challenges and identify data needed to address them. Be an expert on what data is available across FIS and articulate needs for additional data. Make suggestions to improve the quality of how we collect and use information with the goal of increasing data literacy across the organization. Proactively share knowledge with other members of the analytics team.
  • Ensure construction and timely delivery of global and local dashboards, custom analyses and reports for stakeholders.
  • Promote and support self-service access of people data through Visier and identify opportunities to implement enhancements. Stay abreast of system changes, guide stakeholders in adopting new features and design metrics and system enhancements.
  • Monitor competitor, customer and external marketplace trends in the people analytics arena and assess their applicability to FIS to help solve identified challenges.
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience analyzing talent data with demonstrated ability to distill analytics to improve outcomes
  • Experience managing stakeholder expectations and delivering results on time and on budget
  • Experience supporting analytical data-driven processes, cultivating global relationships with stakeholders and explaining complex statistical concepts to non-technical team members
  • Tech-savvy quick learner with an aptitude to grasp complex analytical concepts
  • Proven history of relationship building, stakeholder management and strong story-telling skills, with experience translating data into insights using visualizations that gain leadership buy-in and drive action
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure and juggle multiple tasks

What we offer you

  • A multifaceted job with a high degree of responsibility and a broad spectrum of opportunities
  • A broad range of professional education and personal development possibilities
  • A competitive salary and benefits.
  • A variety of career development tools, resources and opportunities
