We are looking for an experienced Workforce Planning Forecasting Analyst to join our Workforce Planning team within our Care organization. The Forecasting Analyst will report to the Driver and Restaurant WFM Forecasting Manager.
The Impact You Will Make
- Forecasts short-term, monthly, weekly, daily and interval level volume and staffing requirements for multiple channels and multiple lines of business for both internal and external partners
- Performs current and historical trend analysis to identify gaps and to provide recommendations
- Partners with our capacity planning team to stand up new lines of business or movement of workloads to different lines of business
- Participate in weekly forecasting meetings with internal and external partners to review previous, current and upcoming forecast performance
- Collaborates with multiple stakeholders to improve forecast accuracy and decrease true up risk
- Provides feedback to internal and external partners on forecasting accuracy and events and assumptions that impacted accuracy
- Summarize performance results on Weekly Business Review document
- Functions as the main point of contact for your line of business
- Update and maintain our workforce management software as it relates to forecasting
- Participates in the deployment of GrubHub's strategic vision, acting as a subject matter expert on forecasting and a steward to the delivery of exceptional service
- Improve Care workflow and suggest opportunities for increased efficiency through trend analysis
- Evaluate workforce efficiency providing recommendations to the management team to achieve specific call center goals in our pursuit to provide world class customer service
What You Bring to the Table
- Expert Excel skills (index/match, sumifs, pivot tables, etc)
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or 3+ years of equivalent, relevant, industry experience in forecasting and staffing contact centers
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to
- A willingness to learn and adapt and work in a high volume environment
- Proven track record of successful process improvements
- Ability to organize information and accurately follow procedures, with a strong attention to detail.
- Collaborative nature matched with a drive to affect positive change
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
