Security State Management Data Team Manager will play a leading role in driving information security Analytics and strategy for infrastructure security within the Enterprise Infrastructure Operations & Technology (EO&T) Information Security State Management (SSM) team. This role is a key business enabler to provide information security risk analysis and strategic recommendations for the ongoing improvement of Information Security within Enterprise Infrastructure and Citi Technology Infrastructure (CTI).

Job Background:

Information Security is a primary area of focus for Citi. The EO&T IS organization partners with Citi Technology Infrastructure (CTI) to provide world class Information Security support. This key position reports into the Security State Management organization and will be at the heart of managing vulnerabilities and threats affecting technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Stakeholder reporting to Senior Management related to Infrastructure health, Vulnerabilities and Infrastructure Hygiene.
  • Lead the United States data team
  • Analyze requirements, co-design and develop specifications and manage data which supplies information to all threat reporting and analysis for the purpose of reducing risks to Citi's infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain transactional and dimensional databases/warehouse.
  • Act as data owner for the team. Create and maintain data models and ontology, participate in the organization's data governance.
  • Develop and manage program metrics and performance through tracking/reporting and active engagement with stakeholders for continuous service improvement.
  • Develop horizontal view of risk posture across multiple technology domains.
  • Work with various risk and information security teams in presenting recommendations for improvement to technology subject matter experts and management.
  • Engage with cross sector, global and risk teams in the review and reengineering of key controls and processes to effectively and efficiently manage IS issues.
  • Work with vulnerability lifecycle managers, operations and application support teams and the SSM team to analyze requirements, design and develop specs and manage data which supplies information to all vulnerability threat reporting and analysis.
  • Additional ad-hoc IS & Risk related initiatives and projects
  • Complete additionally any other tasks in connection with the role but not detailed in the current job description, charged by the direct manager, supervisor, or the functional head.

Skills:
  • Experienced in automation and optimization of repetitive processes and reporting
  • Experience in Managing High Performance Database.
  • Expert level Microsoft Technologies and experience with other business analytics software
  • Experienced in designing data / reporting systems from the ground up.
  • Prior leadership/management experience
  • Comfortable with complex ETL data flows, ability to reverse engineer existing packages and create new ones (Talend)
  • Advanced knowledge of complex query for data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of performance tuning and optimalization (analyzing query execution plans, implementing and maintaining indexes, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards as they relate to information security management.

Advantages:
  • Experience with Analytical tools like Power BI, Qlik View and Tableau
  • Experience with at least one coding language (PowerShell, Python, C#, etc.)
  • Knowledge of security technologies and network architectures


Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 5+ years in Database Management
  • Prior experience includes 5+ years in information security or Infrastructure Management

  • Effective communicator; has excellent writing and verbal skills.
  • Has the ability to influence others and shape/obtain desired outcome in areas outside of direct control.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process improvement initiatives.
