Job Description

The Metrics, Automation and Task Management Analyst is a strategic professional who will be responsible for developing key progress metrics and critical process automation for the U.S. Personal Bank Analytics Data, Capabilities, Controls & Analytics team to improve the team's business integration strategy, efficiency, and strategic metrics development to organizational effectiveness. The U.S. Personal Bank Analytics function is central to the US Personal Banks mission to be more customer-centric by supporting decision making on multiple levels.

The ideal candidate will have a proven record of accomplishment in strategic business optimization, KPI development, trend analytics, budgeting, project management, workflow automation and increasing partner efficiencies across business and functional lines. Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Citi Data Governance policy implementation strategy by partnering with Data Capabilities, Controls and Analytics colleagues to ensure consistent and efficient execution of policy implementation


  • Identify ways to simplify and enhance ways to adhere to Citi's Data Governance Policy (CDGP)
  • Create and develop KPI reporting for measurable, succinct communication at both the macro and micro levels ensuring consistency and automation
  • Support the Metrics, Automation and Task Management Lead to ensure all solutions are integrated, automated and consistent for all critical Data Management tasks and deliverables
  • Identify opportunities for trend analysis across the universe of metrics and data to drive efficiencies across the book of work and team
  • Re-enforce best practices for the organization to ensure consistency of Business integration and process implementation


  • Optimize internal budget processes and tracking of headcount and expenses in partnership with the budgeting team
  • Provide input and credible challenges and alternative solutions on day-to-day processes


Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in data, metric development, and business transformation
  • Experience in strategy consulting, program management and business optimization
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, highly organized, and high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to develop high quality materials, especially written documents for senior leadership


  • Experience with MS Office tools, including strong presentation development skills (PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Dashboarding tools (Tableau)
