JOB SUMMARY

Head of Analytics position is responsible for creating and interpreting data and analytics to develop, direct and improve performance across the enterprise. The role will require engaging and supporting senior leaders in the organization to drive insights and help them focus on performance improvement. The role will also require a strategic mindset to develop an analytics strategy for the organization that is maturing and evolving with the needs of the organization and the speed of the market. The role will manage a multi-functional analytics team within a consolidated model, as well as develop a highly engaged Analytics Strategic Advisory Committee. This comprehensive job will manage analytics across the enterprise, including Clinical, Operational, Financial, Market Development, and Health Plan organization. He/she will play a lead role to establish, execute and champion the analytics framework, to define technical and process standards, and to identify and drive major performance initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

Meet the reporting and analytics needs of the various stakeholders across the organization.

Establish a strategy for Analytics at BSWH and mature the organization through a disciplined and measured approach.

Be a cultural catalyst to bring "fact oriented" mindset and decision making to BSWH.

Establish deep relationships and serves as a consultative partner to stakeholders across BSWH.

Develop deep capabilities and promote collaboration and coordination among the four (4) core analytics pillars: Data Governance, Data Platform, Analytics Domains and Analytics Consulting.

Create the Analytics Strategic Advisory Committee to understand the needs of the organization and establish a transparent and accountable team.

Stay abreast of new digital intelligence technologies (data management, analytics, and optimization), industry best practices, and advancements in digital measurement to ensure consistent delivery of advanced, innovative solutions focused on performance.

Provide Technical and Architectural oversight for all analytics effort

Collaborate with other Performance Team members (Process Improvement and Project Management) to provide cross-discipline solutions to customers.

Manage team within a consolidated model, leveraging a deployed workforce

Performs other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional and courteous manner.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to distill large amounts of data into simple language and action plans, and resent a cohesive, visual story.

Experience building and maintaining relationships across a wide range of customers and internal teams; strong business acumen and ability to understand the application of analytics to drive performance.

Ability to clearly communicate capabilities, opportunities, and recommendation to both technical/non-technical and clinical/non-clinical audiences with a consultative and service-based mindset.

Ability to lead and grow a team.
