UAS Program Analyst - Washington, DC
LS Technologies is currently seeking a UAS Program Analyst to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Washington, DC.
This position will support the establishment of an Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) program management office within AJM-1, require participation and coordination with the UAS integration office, and support the development of command and control concepts, requirements, and business case studies. The goal of this program is to support the integration of UAS into the NAS.
The PMO will establish robust program management processes to address financial and contract management, program control, and risk management. The successful candidate will develop an overall program management plan addressing the need for an implementation of a PMO within the ATO. He/she will develop an overall framework for addressing UAS concepts as those concepts interact with the ATO. The Program Analyst will support the development of the following products:• UAS program concepts framework document • Program Management Plan• Stakeholder Outreach Plan• An integrated master schedule • A risk register• Other related program control tools• Initial Implementation Strategy and Planning Document
Specific tasks may include:• Development of program budget• Development of Business Plans• Development of resource planning documents (RPDs) • Development of budgetary White Sheets
Requirements:• Must have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in program or contracting support. • Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Excel.• Must have the knowledge and skills to manage multiple projects, keep track of and identify new task or adjust existing task and expectations as the project evolves• Must have proven social and interpersonal skills to coordinate with a team of professionals who are both technical and non-technical to keep everyone on task and progressing forward also ensure the team maintains a positive and collaborative relationship with external stakeholders• Excellent writing, oral communication, and organizational skills. • Ability to perform detailed work with little guidance and to interact in a positive manner with other government and industry personnel
Applicants must possess or meet eligibility requirements for passing a background check.
Bachelor's Degree in a Business-related discipline is required. Years of experience can be substituted for a lack of degree.
