The Telecommunications Analyst position is responsible for installation, configuration and maintenance of voice and multimedia services in OptumCare Mountain West Contact Centers. Additional responsibilities include development and troubleshooting of call routing strategies, Genesys component configuration and deployment as well as handling trouble tickets.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update voice and multimedia routing strategies (Composer/IRD, Genesys Rules Engine)
  • Design and deploy Genesys Framework, Voice and Multimedia solutions (Voice, Chat, SMS)
  • Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of the overall Genesys environment (RHEL 7+ Environment)
  • Troubleshoot issues reported by contact center staff via trouble tickets

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of Genesys experience, call center support or VoIP experience
  • 5+ years of experience supporting Genesys Software or similar
  • 3+ years of experience building complex routing strategies
  • 3+ years of experience with SIP
  • 3+ years of experience with contact center reporting


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a mixed Linux and Windows environment
  • Experience with Voice Over IP (VoIP), IVR, Automated Call Distribution (ACD), Speech-to-Text, Unified Communications (chat, video, file sharing)
  • Experience in Contact Center Telephony Engineering

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $71,400 to $127,400.
