As an Information Technology Analyst, you will leverage technology solutions to meet a company's business and technology needs. You will communicate with stakeholders to understand their requirements, and you'll discover and explore the best technologies to achieve the most effective results. You will need to remain aware of technology trends and developments, use this knowledge to develop functional specifications, and coordinate with project managers and developers to build and implement technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep abreast of technology trends, developments, and best practices by investigating and researching the latest technologies.
  • Communicate with customers and other stakeholders to understand their requirements.
  • Research, identify, and recommends new hardware, software, and applications meeting requirements.
  • Incubate and pilot the next wave of emerging technologies to fill gaps in the company's offerings.
  • Derive conclusions, summarize insights, and compile business cases.
  • Coordinate with project managers and developers to build and implement technology solutions.
  • Integrate multiple systems and reconcile needs of different teams.
  • Gather feedback from end users about system performance.
  • Compile and disseminate reports showing technology trends and developments.
  • Actively participate in departmental and technical meetings.
  • Provide advice and technical training.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail.
  • Understanding of networking hardware and protocols.
  • Proficient with or able to quickly learn data center technologies including cooling, power, security, monitoring, and management systems.
  • Flexible and willingness to work on different projects.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage your own workload.
  • Able to work creatively in both individual and team orientated environments.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related fields from a recognized university.
