Job Description
As an Technical Solution Analyst, you provide functional and technical expertise to our clients and collaborate with project teams who are implementing Cerner software. Much of your time will be spent troubleshooting service requests, retesting workflows, resolving client incidents and maintaining frontend and backend applications while creating documentation throughout the duration of an issue. As you work with Cerner technologies, you prioritize and plan issue resolutions both independently and in a collaborative and fast-paced team environment. You will perform more complex troubleshooting investigations reviewing front-end applications by gathering information, using troubleshooting tools, shadowing end users, and testing workflows internally and externally and via back-end methods by capturing log files, querying tables, updating database fields, and updating/cycling servers. You will also prioritize the work of self and others based on severity and urgency and balancing client and business needs in complex situations and collaborate across teams and organization to ensure complex issues are addressed by the appropriate individuals.
Working Environment

Hybrid or Remote

This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. #LI-Hybrid #Remote

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications

  • At least 6 years total combined related work experience and/or completed higher education including:
    • At least 1 year customer service, call center, hospitality and/or technical support work experience
    • At least 5 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:
      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
  • Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen


Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency through work experience or academic coursework in a programming language including Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, HTML, XML, SQL, etc.
  • At least 2 years of customer service work experience

  • Provide on-call support when needed
  • Willing to work on a flexible schedule as needed
  • Access to a reliable internet connection
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
