Technical Business Analyst. This position is required to work on-site at our Tampa, FL location. However, you may also be located in Los Angeles, CA HQ.
NAX enables a corporate partner to realize the full potential of its proprietary assets through the development of new asset-backed ventures and securities. From seed to securitization, NAX co-leads the commercialization of these initiatives alongside its partners. It has three distinct but complementary platforms to repurpose corporate assets: (i) a development platform, (ii) a technology platform and a (iii) securitization platform.
NAX maintains its headquarters in Manhattan Beach, CA and has offices in Tampa, Palo Alto, New York, London, Paris, Zurich and Frankfurt.
Your role
We have an opportunity for a highly motivated, quality driven Technical Business Analyst to expand and maintain our Business Intelligence (BI) systems in support of the exciting continued growth of NAX. You'll be responsible for building, maintaining, and visualizing company data using BI software tools and delivering recommendations to a variety of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and management of product requirements document, technical requirements and other product related documentation
  • Develop reports & dashboards for data visualization using softwares such as PowerBi, Tableau, and Excel
  • Be the go-to person for tracking down discrepancies in reporting both internally and with our commercial partners
  • Work with the product team to develop a robust understanding of needs and opportunities to improve visibility to key business metrics


Essential Skills

  • 2-3 years of expertise in creating system/product documentation, technical requirements, and product needs
  • A working knowledge of cloud systems like Azure and the Atlassian suites
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Able to effectively analyze data, data flows, and create data mappings to deliver business solutions
  • Experience with upstream/downstream systems and the ability to understand data changes
  • A strong background in and comprehension of agile methodologies
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, influencing, prioritizing, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities for collaborating with all technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail and the pursuit of exceptionally high-quality software solutions
  • The capacity to manage projects with conflicting priorities
  • Possesses good teamwork and relationship-building abilities, and is able to persuade and influence staff at all levels.
  • Strong communication skills-verbal, written, and interpersonal
  • Zeal and commitment to addressing each client's demands
