To continue our extraordinary growth, we are hiring a remote Technical Applications Scientist II in Europe; Gothenburg, Sweden or Amsterdam, The Netherlands preferred.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated candidate to join our Assay and Customer Excellence team. This individual will be focused on providing high quality and comprehensive technical assistance to our customers. We are seeking a mid-level scientific professional to support commercial and custom assays for an array of platforms for our customers. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Attain proficiency in Simoa Technology principles to provide technical in-depth assay and basic instrument/software support for our customers
  • Triage and document customer inquiries and complaints in our case management systems, Salesforce and JIRA
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with our customers via email, calls, and meetings to resolve customer concerns
  • Design laboratory experiments to troubleshoot customer complaints on multiple instrument platforms
  • Collaborate internally with multi-disciplinary teams to resolve customer complaints
  • Represent Technical Applications in cross functional team projects or core teams to contribute to product and process excellence improvements
  • Coordinate with Field Applications Scientists and Field Service Engineers to support customers as needed
  • Collate and organize assay data for use in the development of guides and charts for use in technical support and field applications, as well as, building a repository for Knowledgebase
  • Create and run reports supporting ongoing business activities
  • Assist in training and mentorship of junior members of the team
  • Position is based in Home Office; Domestic and international travel – < 5%

What We’ll Expect From You: 

  • M.S. or B.S. in a life science discipline or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • 5+ years of laboratory experience, preferably in assay development
  • 5+ years of customer facing, teaching, and/or training experience
  • Strong immunoassay and assay development skills
  • Troubleshooting acumen
  • Excellent detail oriented oral and written communication
  • Computer proficiency with emphasis on MS Excel
  • Mathematical proficiency; Statistical analysis a plus
  • Highly organized and analytical
  • Independent and self-disciplined
  • Collaborative
