In this position, you will play a key role in expanding our fast-growing analytics and insights team. We have experienced explosive growth as an emerging leader in the Mortgage Industry and are looking for a team lead to help us as we move into the future.

As a team lead at UWM, you will work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. You will be responsible for mentoring and growing a cross-functional team of developers, analysts, and data scientists who will work to build data products that drive the business. Your team will be a highly talented group comprised of data scientists, business intelligence developers and analysts, and database developers.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Mentor and lead developers, analysts, and data scientists; promote best practices and patterns• Facilitate communication between teams to ensure the success of your team• Suggest new processes and document reoccurring processes that will help streamline development.• Leads the design, construction, and implementation phases of system or project upgrades while driving to keep projects on track• Keep senior leaders well informed during the project life cycle• Participate in interviews

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Required:

• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server tools including SSMS, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI
• 3+ years of business intelligence/database development experience as well as with the entire development life cycle.
• 3+ years experience with data project management
• 3+ years experience leading a cross-functional agile team
• Experience with data science techniques and methodology
• Computer-related degree or equivalent work experience
• Ability to communicate with strong technical skills
• Ability to work with limited guidance in a team environment
• Strong analytical problem solving, technical and organizational skills
• Experience with customer and team member management (setting expectations, exemplary communication, and leadership abilities)
• Ability to mentor developers

• Experience with business intelligence

• Experience in an Agile environment
