As a part of the Global Procurement team, the Supplier Compliance Analyst will be responsible for supporting Micron's Global Procurement Compliance programs including supplier compliance risk assessments and rankings, supplier risk mitigations, and continual improvement of the program. This team is responsible for compliance related evaluation of potential new suppliers to Micron as well as regular reviews of the incumbent supply base. The position will report to the Sr. Manager of Third Party Risk.
Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. Constructs forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge. Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements. May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues. May directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the Company's Third-Party Due Diligence Process, including sanction screening and reputational due diligence efforts.
  • Act as a point of contact for Due Diligence process escalations. Drive accountability and resolution of issues raised through the process.
  • Support supplier audits and reporting (related to compliance responsibilities) through the supplier risk ranking process.
  • Support development of training for Procurement team members and key stakeholders on policies, responsibilities, and expectations with respect to supplier due diligence
  • Provide key stakeholders with timely updates on supplier risk evaluations.
  • Manage and monitor compliance of Global Procurement to monitor and enforce internal due diligence policies and procedures.
  • Monitor compliance of Micron suppliers to applicable compliance policies and procedures concerning procurement and supplier engagement.
  • Partner with Corporate Functions (Procurement, Legal and Trade Compliance) to design and implement new and incumbent supplier compliance assessments across business functions and geographic areas and design effective controls based on those assessments.
  • Drive supplier accountability through both partnership and enforcement of corrective actions.
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement in supplier evaluation processes and systems.


Knowledge & Skills:

  • Ability to clearly communicate complex topics to various levels of corporate seniority
  • Collaborative and responsive, with strong business and procurement acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong commitment to integrity
  • Ability to simultaneously identify, prioritize and address multiple issues and quickly respond to shifts in priorities
  • Working knowledge and experience of Micron's supplier management processes
  • Working knowledge of RBA (Responsible Business Alliance) standards, requirements and documentation


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Legal, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 5 years of compliance experience
  • Ability to travel internationally


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledgeable of procurement processes and systems (e.g., Ariba, SAP, source to pay processes, Exiger,)
  • Master's Degree in a related field
  • Experience with semiconductor manufacturing in US locations
