Job Description:
The ideal candidate will support MARMC Code 271 in submarine combat systems assessments.
Essential Duties:
2) When assigned by TYCOM/MARMC, provide Assessment Coordinator duties which includes coordinated assignment of system matter experts performing an approved test plan from TYCOM. This also includes performing inbrief/outbrief/daily status to ship/ISIC/TYCOM chain of commands.
1) AN/BSY-1(V) legacy, AN/BYG-1, CCS MK2, CCS MK1 legacy, Damage Control, Weapons Handling and Launchers as requested by INSURV board.
1) AN/BSY-1(V) legacy, AN/BYG-1, CCS MK2, CCS MK1 legacy, Damage Control, Weapons Handling and Launchers, Counter Measures Systems, Combat Systems Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)

- Submarine Total Ship Readiness Assessment (TSRA), Weapon System Readiness Assessment (WSRA)
- Maintain ongoing review of the configuration management for TSRA. Review and evaluate various technical reports and studies concerning failure analysis and system performance studies. Review, evaluate, validate, and make recommendations to equipment/systems ILS elements.
2) When assigned by TYCOM/MARMC, provide Assessment Coordinator duties which includes coordinated assignment of system matter experts performing an approved test plan from TYCOM. This also includes performing inbrief/outbrief/daily status to ship/ISIC/TYCOM chain of commands.
- Submarine Inspection and Survey (INSURV)
1) AN/BSY-1(V) legacy, AN/BYG-1, CCS MK2, CCS MK1 legacy, Damage Control, Weapons Handling and Launchers as requested by INSURV board.
- Submarine Combat Systems Assessment Planning (CSAP), System of System Interoperability and Mission Area Assessment (SOSIMAA)
1) AN/BSY-1(V) legacy, AN/BYG-1, CCS MK2, CCS MK1 legacy, Damage Control, Weapons Handling and Launchers, Counter Measures Systems, Combat Systems Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)
- Maintain deficiency tracking files which list the deficiencies encountered during this test period. This database shall be in Microsoft Power point and/or Microsoft Word format, which will be provided to the MARMC test director for support during the CSA period.
- When assigned by TYCOM/MARMC, provide Assessment Coordinator Duties which includes coordinated assignment of system matter experts performing an approved test plan from TYCOM. This also includes performing inbrief/outbrief/daily status to ship/ISIC/TYCOM chain of commands.Travel: Yes, up to 10%
- EDUCATION: No requirement specified.
- SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of full-time experience in submarine, electrical, or electronic systems and equipment acquisition and lifecycle support. Possess knowledge of:
b) Navy system requirements, standards, and procedures
c) Navy procurement and acquisition
d) Navy configuration management, data management and program management
- General Experience: Three (3) years of full-time experience in Navy program acquisition and lifecycle support.
- Must be US Citizen and have an active Secret Clearance.
