Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They align strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners. They execute the competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or technical continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services; collaborate across Business Units and cross-regions for optimal TE leverage. Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures.
TE Connectivity is seeking a qualified Strategic Sourcing Analyst III. In this role, you will be responsible to drive global procurement strategies set to support global manufacturing, customer delivery and internal customers. You will also be responsible to drive the attainment of relevant procurement KPI's such as Material Productivity (CMP), Lead time performance, delivery (STR/STC), and Quality.
Job Duties:• Perform complex data analysis and apply the findings to procurement decisions and sourcing strategies • TEOA - Contributes to the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives for procurement
practices• Identify, assess, and manage procurement risks for complex requirements throughout the procurement lifecycle• Prepare and conduct supplier reviews and resolve issues or disputes that arise• Engage with internal stakeholders to manage operational risks for purchased parts• Identify best source and initiate RFI and RFQ in accordance with company policy. • Responsible for info record accuracy including price and lead time.

Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree & 5+ years' experience in procurement as a buyer/purchaser, including experience in preparation of
negotiations.• 7-10 yrs. experience in lieu of degree.• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and communication skills• Ability to demonstrate strong customer focus and continuous improvement attitude• Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task• Ability to work in a matrix environment with multi-cultural teams• Ability to create competitive strategies and plans, broad knowledge of strategies and tactics of the marketplace, knows
trends• Advanced knowledge in the use of SAP and Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint

COMPENSATION• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $69,900 - $90,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
