Strategic Planning and Business Process Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of PC refresh projects relating to end-user devices and field equipment
- Plan projects, track and verify deliverables, track and manage problems and issues, monitor schedule, report, and assist with project closeout
- Assist with developing and presenting project progress status
- Support the management of deployable field equipment inventory
- Coordinate Integrated Project Team (IPT) meetings and document and track action item
- Conduct Business Process Analysis / Re-Engineering activities to improve data tracking of end-user devices and field equipment
- Maintain and refresh data associated with inventory tracking using custom application
- Develop and maintain consistent and repeatable deployment activities
- Gather requirements and conduct analysis through data collection, and provide systems and tools support for deployment efforts
- Identify root causes of issues and work with government representatives to resolve with a continued service improvements approach
- Conduct research required to resolve issues and coordinate escalation as needed
- Evaluate and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) that include timely communication, documentation, and accurate record-keeping as determined by the Government
- Develop and edit documentation and reports, and communicate with the stakeholders following TSA guidelines
Requirements:
- Ability to obtain TSA Public Trust
- Must have an information technology/desktop deployment background in an end-user support environment
- Strong information technology acumen and understanding of data management and business process engineering/re-engineering in a hardware and software inventory tracking end-user support environment
- 5+ years demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of Federal or DHS systems
- Ability to effectively and efficiently work on simultaneous projects
- Ability to quickly recognize and prioritize competing tasks
- Ability to establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with stakeholders at various levels from executive to support
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and research skills
- Excellent customer service skills, strong interpersonal skills, good communication skills (verbal and writing) and detail and process-oriented
- MS Office Suite (Advanced Excel/VBA ), PowerBI, Data Management, and Data Automation
- BA/BS required
- ITIL v3+ Certification
- A+ certification
