Job Description Duties: Develop and innovate fraud prevention strategies, both in Consumer bank and JPM WM risk, using public as well as proprietary data. Manage operational risk metrics and fraud risk strategies including resolving control gaps, and support updates /changes to digital onboarding flow. Acquire consumer banking and JPM WM business expertise in the accounts origination processes, operational review, and digital onboarding. Acquire consumer banking and Chase Wealth Management business expertise in the accounts origination processes, operational review, and digital onboarding. Collaborate and partner with other departments such as Finance, Digital, Operations, Marketing and Product Management based on business requirements. Coordinate with IT, systems and operations partners to implement new projects as required. Work with credit bureaus to build underwriting strategies that help predict the right product for each applicant. Provide analytic support and timely reporting for the successful implementation of various De-risking initiatives. Conduct data extraction and ADHOC analysis to support the broader Fraud Risk team as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field of study plus four (4) years of experience in the position offered or four (4) years of experience as a Strategic Analytics, Data Analyst, IT Consultant, Modeling Data Analytics, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of experience in lieu of the Master's degree and four (4) years.
Skills Required: This position requires experience in the following: SAS; macros; working with large data sets over 30MM records; Control-M; using Unix or Shell scripting to develop and maintain automation scripts; SQL and Database tools such as Teradata SQL Assistant, SQL Server, or Business Objects; and Microsoft Office including use of pivot tables, array formulas, and visualizations in Excel.
