With the advent of genomic sequencing, we can finally decode and process our genetic makeup. We now have more data than ever before but providers don't have the infrastructure or expertise to make sense of this data. We're on a mission to connect an entire ecosystem to redefine how genomic data is used in clinical settings. We are looking for an Applications Scientist to be a part of our process engineering team.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide applications support for the clinical laboratory
• Assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for non-conformance events
• Assist with wetlab testing for root cause confirmations and process improvements
• Implement corrective actions and preventive actions as appropriate
• Assist with non-conformance reporting and documentation
• Provide additional application training to Clinical Molecular Technologists and other laboratory staff
• Provide analyses, feedback and recommendations regarding assay and equipment performance

Qualifications:

• A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree required
• Strong background in molecular biology, genetics, genomics and bioinformatics
• Experience in use of MS Office or G Suite applications, specifically spreadsheets
• Experience with qPCR , NGS, and automated liquid handlers preferred
• Good written and verbal communication in English, interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Highly organized and systematic, superb attention to detail and ability to complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy
• Willingness to accommodate flexible schedules as needed
