Essential Functions

  • Support various call centers by writing well designed, testable, and efficient applications for the Jacada Interact Platform
  • Integrate software application with other systems (Avaya phone system, databases, and various backend systems)
  • Write well designed, testable, and efficient business processes in the Jacada Interact Application
  • Ensure designs follow specifications
  • Apply current programming standards and methodologies to all relevant projects and activities
  • Keep current with existing and emerging technologies
  • Provide expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from conception and design to testing



Education - Major
• Bachelor's degree.• Five or more years of experience.• No supervisory/management experience.

Required Knowledge/Skills:

  • Experience with JavaScript, and a modern JS framework like Angular or Vue.js
  • Experience with REST services, HTML5, SQL
  • Technical proficiency in J2EE development or .Net
  • Strong background in developing UIs to create exceptional user experiences
  • Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to excellent customer service and product development
  • Strong team skills and the ability to work independently
  • Detail oriented with good time management, multi-tasking, and flexibility skills



Additional Qualifications

  • JavaScript Related Tech: Node.js, Vue.js, TypeScript, NestJS, JSON, TypeORM
  • Experience with Material Design, Bootstrap, Vuetify, CSS3
  • Experience in developing modern Platform API based on REST services
  • Experience with Postman, Chrome DevTools, VSCode
  • Server experience (e.g. Nginx, Tomcat, Linux)
  • Agile Methodology
  • Team Foundation Server / Azure DevOps, Git
  • Knowledge of Avaya Voice Portal Management System, Avaya Experience Portal
  • Experience with the Docker Container Platform



Additional Requirements
• The position is physically comfortable; essentially normal office environment with acceptable lighting and temperature; the individual has discretion about walking, standing, etc.• A person in this position normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and receives general instructions on new assignments.
