At Affirm, we are using today's technology to bring significant innovation to the financial industry. Since day one, our mission has been to deliver honest financial products that improve lives. That mission hasn’t changed—and it never will.

The Merchant Pricing team is responsible for the pricing strategy and analytics for products and initiatives that span across Affirm's entire portfolio. • Structure new pricing strategies and go-to-market rollouts for our B2B products in a digestible and scalable framework to strengthen our positioning and deepen merchant relationships
  • Conduct analyses on sophisticated and open-ended questions at the intersection of profitability, growth, and risk; present findings in a clear and concise manner to influence partners across Commercial, Product, Capital Markets, Credit, Finance, etc.
  • Ownership of end-to-end analytics workflow, define success, implement data requirements, conduct analyses, generate insights and hypotheses, monitor performance, and socialize results across relevant teams.

What we look for

  • Strong experience with analytical tools such as SQL. Python is a plus.
  • Passion for fintech and consumer lending
  • Eager to seek out new opportunities, navigate ambiguity and develop creative solutions using data
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships and work across all organizational levels
  • Strong work ethic - able to take ownership beyond own responsibility and run timelines/deliverables effectively
  • Masters degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Financial Engineering, Computer Science or related quantitative field is a plus.
