The Senior People Analytics Analyst will collaborate across the business to uncover data-driven insights to solve business challenges across the talent lifecycle and enable transformational change. You will innovate and deliver reports and dashboards across the employee lifecycle to present complex data in a way that conveys meaningful insights. You will change the way our leaders make decisions.

Responsibilities....

  • Collaborate with internal partners to: identify, define, and clarify business requirements; translating needs into efficient reports and configurations that conform to standard methodologies and provide data driven insights.
  • Advise and understand internal stakeholders' objectives and develop appropriate data visualizations / dashboards that provide them with meaningful insights to achieve their objectives.
  • Utilize datasets across Workday and other applications to investigate key business trends, performance, issues, behaviors, and metrics
  • Build organization-wide relationships to move initiatives forward and position ideas to enhance the likelihood of success.
  • Demonstrate business knowledge and expertise to uncover process gaps and work multi-functionally to formulate plans to improve support model.
  • Participate in the organizational change and go live support processes.
  • Facilitate review sessions with functional owners, domain specialists and end-user representatives.
  • Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality when gathering, sharing, mapping, and visualizing company data.
  • Support day-to-day queries and employee life cycle for report and in-app dashboard / analytics (e.g. FOCAL, Performance / OKRs)

Qualifications....

  • 5+ years of professional experience in a data analyst role
  • Experience with Workday is a must.
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Demonstrable understanding of business requirements gathering (e.g., identifying and mapping business needs to application capabilities).
  • Ability to communicate data into significant items for various audiences, including but not limited to, functional end-users and executive partners.
  • Enjoy communicating and collaborating, and establishing positive relationships with all levels of an organization
  • Demonstrated customer service experience and/or good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, continually changing, business and work environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent understanding of Tableau to be able to link data and develop meaningful visualizations.
  • Knowledge of VBA, SQL, and/or R
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with People systems such as Lever (ATS) and engagement surveys is desired 

Although the role is listed as Redwood City, this role can be based anywhere in the US.
