Position Summary
Elevating the importance of our pet food categories with each of our retailers is the goal. The larger mission is to enrich the lives of pets and the people who love them. Nestle Purina's Market Development Organization (MDO) is what we commonly refer to as our hub of business excellence across Category Development and Shopper Marketing that drives category and share growth through insight-driven strategies and proactive solutions. This team is positioned in between our Marketing and Sales organizations to speaking the language of both. We're guided by deep research, innovative science, and rich customer feedback. As the Sr. Manager of Pricing & Promotion, you will have a strong understanding of statical modeling and the ability to deliver insights to various groups through presentations while catering to an array of learning styles. You will be the point of contact and manage vendors while also collaborating with additional departments and including the right teams and individuals from the start. With a robust communication style, you will deliver statistical models in-depth to technical and non-technical teams, answering questions, and providing unique insights and visualizations to tell your story.

• Responsible for development of advanced Strategic Revenue Management (SRM) analytics (e.g., elasticities, thresholds, other modeling, and tools that incorporate those analytics
• Manage external vendors on the creation of advanced modeling
• Work with key business partners to ensure external vendors have the resources they need as well as are following Nestle Purina protocols
• Develop long-term vision for SRM advanced analytics
• Partner with internal business partners on using the advanced analytics, while helping business partners interrupt results
• Collaborate with associates responsible for advanced analytics at Nestle Purina to ensure consistent approaches as well as shared learnings
• Remain relevant with industry trends, tools, and best practices to ensure that Nestle Purina operates at the forefront of price modeling

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in STEM, Marketing, or Finance
• 7+ years of related professional experience with at least 4+ years in analytics
• 3+ years of experience in price modeling, or business statistics
• 1+ years of experience in management and deployment of price modeling within an organization
