Job Description
We’re looking for a senior manager to join our SDTI team and help us accelerate our AI OPS roadmap, while maintaining a close collaboration with the operations and engineering team. From discovery through to delivery, you would be responsible for understanding use cases, quantifying value and lead a team of data engineers and data scientists to take it through execution.
The ideal candidate has previously been in technical data and analytics management focused roles, and is now keen to be a strong enabler in delivery processes with an emphasis on communication and collaboration.
On a day-to-day basis, you will proactively work with Services Offer Management and Motorola Solutions Customer Operations to understand the voice of the customer and operational challenges, convert them into use cases tier to revenue and operational efficiencies and lead the team to execute on the initiatives.
In the first few months you will lead the team to build the overall Data Landscape and build a platform to Collect, Organize, Analyze and Act aligned the roadmap with technical capabilities and capacity,
Responsibility
Lead a Team of Data architects and Data Scientists delivering AI Ops Initiatives
Define and own the overall data landscape for Motorola Solutions Centralized Managed and Support Operations
Build a platform, apply architecture related to data flows, integration, and storage of datasets of data from multiple source systems for consolidated views to support reporting, analytics, interfaces, and data science
Qualifications
Overall 8 - 10 years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Science and leading large scale initiatives for Operations
5+ Years of Management experience
Must have executed large data engagements from inception to production as an Data Warehouse architect
Strong experience in event and performance management utilizing events, metrics, logs, traces in On Pren, Data centers and cloud environments
Experience on discovery and data modeling for Telecommunications network and data center infrastructure
Understanding of logical data models, including use case specific data models and the corresponding model for the data lake and other data repositories
Sound understanding of predictive and prescriptive data modelling
Experience integrating the requirements and activities of a Data Governance program into the data architecture in a sustainable methodology
Iterative mindset with a bias toward action and improvement
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills

Bachelors in Computer Science, Data Science + 10 years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Science and leading large scale initiatives for Operations
