Our client, a billion-dollar corporation supporting financial professionals across the nation, is seeking a Sr. Financials Systems Analyst for a fully remote position with their team. The ideal candidate has previous accounting and finance operational experience as well as Workday and system configuration expertise. This role will collaborate with the finance team as well as the HRIS manager.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Troubleshoot business processes, incompetencies, and integration issues
  • Create and schedule custom reports and report groups
  • Manage a variety of WD modules: expenses, banking, and settlement cash management, procurement, contracts, projects, supplier accounts, and accounting.
  • Provide consultative feedback to the other departments
  • Collaborate with the finance team to align business processes and strategies and assist with integration
  • Manage system design and configuration including mapping and verifying conversions and provide ongoing support
  • Develop finance training materials and conduct in-person or online training as necessary
  • Regularly participate in testing efforts including releases and updates and support all uses with any issues
  • Ensure confidentiality or regularly accessed data
  • Manage implementations and enhancements to Workday
  • Additional Ad Hoc duties as needed


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in a Finance Operations role
  • Minimum 3+ years of financials system functional experience required
  • 2 years' Workday experience configuring Workday financials and developing custom reports and operational support
  • Effective and professional oral and written communication
  • Detail-oriented with highly critical and analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced atmosphere
  • Strong team player with leadership capabilities
  • Vast knowledge of finance and accounting functions
  • Ability to problem solve and provide effective resolutions
  • Experience working with a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Experience with Optical Character Recognition and Adaptive preferred
