NIKE, Inc. Beaverton, OR. Implement and maintain smooth operation and physical design of databases. Conduct performance tuning of indexes and databases in general. Maintain security and integrity controls. Formulate policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management, and monitor transaction activity and utilization. Provide guidance, governance and risk across IT strategy, Architecture, and Infrastructure. Review database design and integration of systems, provide backup recovery and make recommendations regarding enhancements and improvements. Interact with vendors of existing technologies to stay current with the capabilities of their offerings. Review the critical Database list periodically and ensure heightened administration and monitoring with periodic health checks. Provide engineering solutions over the emerging database technologies, data models and integration of large transactional and reporting data environment. Provide technical support and administration of packaged applications and software. Provide Business Continuity solutions ensuring the availability of Business Applications and Technology Services, handle incident management, development and maintenance of Infrastructure Services. Design and Implement High-Availability and Replication solutions for the Critical Applications.

Applicant must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering and five (5) year of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Experience must include the following:

1. Oracle Database Administration

2. SQL Server, MYSQL, Postgres

3. Linux and Windows

4. Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, Ali Cloud)

5. Enterprise Monitoring Solutions

6. Database Virtualization

7. Shell and Python Scripting

8. High Availability Design Solution

9. Disaster Recovery Design Solution

10. Capacity Planning Analysis

11. System Performance Analysis and Tuning

12. Replication Solutions

13. ITIL Process and Delivery Management

14. Business Communication
