The Data Modeler is responsible for understanding the business requirements, coupling this with an in-depth knowledge of logical and physical data modelling and data solution design. You will be responsible for defining and maintaining the logical and physical data models, working with the Architecture and Data Engineering teams to Develop solutions which meet business need.• Understand and translate business needs into data models supporting long-term solutions.• Work with the Data Engineering to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data models.• Optimize and update logical and physical data models to support new and existing projects.
Skills & Experience:• Strong communication skills, including prioritizing, problem-solving and interpersonal relationship building. • 5 years of hands-on relational, dimensional, and/or analytic experience.• Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms.• Good knowledge of metadata management, data modelling, and related tools (Erwin or ER Studio or others) required.• Demonstrable experience of utilizing Data Modelling tools and techniques, applying best practice.• Demonstrable experience of working within a fast-paced change environment, dealing with large volumes of data.• Solid working knowledge of Advanced Analytics and Business Intelligence concepts (e.g. reporting, data analysis, ETL, data warehouse, data lake , visualization tools, dashboards). "
