We are currently upgrading our system to engagebrokers and prospective borrowers to increase volume and drive business while lowering production costsand funding loans faster.
Job Description

• Responsible for developing software built as part of the Enterprise Data
• Management and Analytics Team which supports our company's business needs.
• Contribute towards our business strategy to achieve leadership distinction in the residential lendingand securitization markets using advanced technology.
• Integrating heterogeneous sources to cloud based systems such as Snowflake, Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing cloud using toolssuch as Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), SQL Server and PostrgreSQL.
• Use sophisticated cloud based platforms such as Amazon AWS to build applications that areeasily scalable, portable and robust for the company's Mortgage Origination Systems.
• Takes ownership of application development throughout the Product lifecycle and will useexperience to review requirements, code development, and deployment of code and production support.
• Requires experience in using integration tools such as Informatica and AWS as well asdatabase systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Dynamo DB and Snowflake.
• Partner with line-of-business, stakeholders, and other technology teams, and will interactwith offshore development teams to guide them on development activities.
• Maintain application systems and fixing system defects within production to ensure continuity ofbusiness activities.
• Provide critical information and application development that affects all aspects of PennyMac's brand and branddeliverables by maintaining key applications, and all project management data, while providing front linemanagement with timely operational reports.
• Involved at every critical development stage of the product life cycle, and will be responsible for working with a team ofdevelopers and computer specialists, using complex computer software to apply principles of architectureand design framework creation.

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

• Additionally, you will be responsible for working with multiple businessPODS and performing the following duties:
  Requirement Gathering and Business Process Analysis and High level design
  •Contribute to documentation of program functionality as required by leveraging expertise tocontribute to solution architecture.
  • Interact with customers to understand their business functionality requirements and develop highlevel design documents and prototypes to get feedback.• Write technical specifications for each development story card incorporating feedback from teammembers.
  Designing and developing Application Integration Framework • Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.• Design the application integration framework to support the required business functionality.• Develop data pipelines using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), MS SQL Server andSnowflake.• Develop cloud based scalable solutions using Amazon AWS tools like EC2 instances, S3 storage,Kinesis, Glue, Athena, SQS, Dynamo DB and Lambda.• Designing and building different database models using tables, views, Stored procedures, triggersand other database components.• Consume Restful APIs to ingest real time data from heterogeneous source systems.• Develop reusable mapplets and AWS components that can be used across the integration projects.• Develop ETL packages using Informatica Cloud to extract and process large sets of data for batchprocessing.• Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customeracquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.Product deployment to Cloud platform and Enhancements • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes,optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.• Work closely with testing team to deliver high quality code supporting client deliverables andinternal business processes• Product deployment to production environment and setup automated support notifications for allbatch processing.• Troubleshoot any production issues, providing root cause analysis and fixing in a timely manner.Define, Establish, Communicate and Manage development Quality and Team collaboration • Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist withdata-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.• Identify and mitigate potential bugs using different approaches like peer reviews and automatedunit tests.• Provide key oversight to root cause analysis of issues and advise team on major issues to productquality• Work closely with team members to emphasize quality throughout the entire SDLC.
