SR. Data Analyst
This role is on an exciting team here at ServiceNow as we are building the Product led Growth (PLG) foundation for the company and analytics is going to be the navigation system which helps us stay on track and course correct as needed based on recommendations , facts and insights we will provide to our business. This role will partner closely with product and marketing counterparts to drive and own the end to end analytical infrastructure for the PLG motion of ServiceNow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define KPIs, develop automated dashboards, reports, and models to help teams make faster better decisions.
- Develop and maintain SaaS metrics and dashboards in Tableau, in addition to ad hoc analysis to help drive strategic business decisions
- Take a vague business question, break it down into the evidence needed to answer it, crush the analysis, and work cross-functionally to come with hypothesis to drive needed change.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer journey phases and key business metrics.
- Perform analytical deep-dives to analyze problems and opportunities, identify the hypothesis and design & execute experiments.
- Become expert on key internal and external data sources. Identify opportunities to leverage new data sources/features to improve existing or develop new analytic solutions
- Create end-to-end, robust analytic products in key areas of the business (e.g. Marketing , Product , Customer Success, etc.), working closely with business to scope, develop, implement, and monitor solutions.
- Deliver and drive model/analytics insights throughout organization, helping to support data-driven decision making at all levels of the organization
- Work cross-functionally within the organization to identify opportunities to leverage data/analytics to improve business operations and drive efficiency
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- A passion for driving insights out of information to drive change in the organization
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Math, Economics, Statistics, or other quantitative fields
- 5+ years work experience in a high growth agile SaaS environment
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau preferred)
- Intermediate/Advanced SQL proficiency (Snowflake preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work with geographically distributed teams
- Ability to work with other teams across an organization
- Strong oral and written communication
- A solid grasp of common statistical methods and applications (A/B testing, probability, regression)
- Familiarity with web analytics tools

A required in office work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office. This persona is required to work from their assigned workplace location 100% of the work week based on the business needs of their role.
Flexible
A flexible work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office and will work from their assigned workplace location roughly 3 days/week or less (generally around 40-60% of the work week). Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
Remote
A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home. Remote employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
