Primary Responsibilities:

• Partner with Health Equity analytics leader and other team members to execute on prioritized health equity analytic roadmap
• Develop and manage large analytic datasets, including data extraction, cleaning, and documentation of project requirements
• Perform highly complex data cleansing, transformation, aggregation, and summarization of output datasets
• Develop and conduct descriptive data and basic statistical analyses using complex data
• Produce, interpret, and visualize data analysis results
• Assist in sourcing new data internally and externally
• Document data and programming processes
• Work with the team to develop new approaches that improve analytics and insights

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of experience in health care analytics or research including working with various health care data sources inking the documentation of data and analytics requirements
• 2+ years of experience integrating data from large relational databases
• 2+ years of experience programing with analytic tools such as SQL, SAS, R or Python
• Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
• Understanding of basic descriptive statistics

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent time/project management, problem solving and organizational skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and ability to pivot priorities as needs shift

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
