Position Summary:

In this cross functional role, this person will serve as a critical resource in the change management process from inception through end-of-life for Illumina products. Be part of a team that just launched a new PLM system and looks to employ and continue to optimize the change process for the business. This person should be a high motivated and team-oriented individual with background in change management and some project management skills.

Responsibilities:

Change Control Board (CCB) Leader

  • Prepare agenda and ensure adequate information is available for CCB members to make decisions on each change request.
  • Chair the CCB meeting while driving cross functional group of leaders to decisions.



Configuration/Change Analyst

  • Review submitted changes and facilitate dialog between all impacted parties to identify impacts of the proposed solution.
  • Protect customers and the business by ensuring completeness of change control activities and adherence to requirements as per approved processes.
  • Engage Subject Matter Experts to assure configuration and document change documentation includes required information, such as supporting rationale, relevant documentation, and appropriate implementation strategies.
  • Manage change workflow to minimize time efficiently and effectively between receipt of change request through its closure.



Other tasks include but not limited to:

  • Participate in global change related improvement project initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to advance process and capabilities.
  • Author and maintain work instruction documentation



Experience:

  • Ideal candidate will have at least 2-5 years related manufacturing environment experience.
  • Ideal candidate will have at least 2-5 years' experience in project management and/or configuration management within a regulated environment.
  • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) experience, Teamcenter desirable.
  • Experience in quality management system, regulatory and/or compliance audits preferred.
  • Able to coordinate communication methods (meetings, emails, presentations, documentation) to drive timely closure of issues.
  • Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills and capable of supporting cross-functional project goals.
  • Organizational capabilities to drive work proactively.
  • Adaptable to fast-paced, dynamic work environment with shifting demands.



Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required; engineering or technical science discipline preferred.
