Job Description

Role Summary:

In this role you will:

  • Lead and support all product data related project execution
  • Maintain the product classification system within the PIM (Product Information Management)
  • Maintain the product marketing taxonomy within the PIM, in coordination with the Global Website Portfolio team
  • Identify areas for data quality improvements and help to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.
  • Analyze problems and determine root causes
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Monitor and support data integrations
  • Map current & future state processes, process gaps, data flow diagrams, etc. in support of transformation
  • Demonstrate an informed knowledge of business areas to support several moderately complex business data
  • Collaborate with programmers, Business Analysts, and partners to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance
  • Be responsible for training and support documentation, as well as system data readiness



Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and related experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.



Preferred Qualifications:

SKEE ( Skills , Education, Experience )

  • 5 plus years of experience with Data Analyze, Business analysis, Process Improvement, and data management experience
  • Ability to maintain data in the context of PIM systems and MDM systems
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with databases (SQL etc)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements
  • Experience with Agile development and SCRUM/SAFE methodologies
  • Familiarity with ERP material master data concepts, including configuration
  • Excellent communication skills



IPC (Complex information processing capability)

  • Self-starter and possesses flexibility to work in a fast-paced & fast-changing environment and ambiguous situations, with ability to succeed amidst ambiguity
  • Applies in-depth professional knowledge and understanding to technical or business problem solving
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to distill information from disparate data sources and the capability to tell the story behind it, as well as recommendations for next steps.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements
  • Comfortable leading change in areas outside of subject matter expertise, and builds the ability in others
  • Ability to manage priorities, ambiguity and data to find and execute improvement opportunities to drive strategic goals.

  • Works on multiple projects as a project team member, occasionally as a project leader. May coach more junior staff.
