Overview

As a Sr. Business Analyst in the Digital Transformation and Technology department, you will act as the "bridge" between business challenges and technology solutions. This role will work with functional partners in Marketing to understand how data-driven changes to process, products, services, software, and hardware can improve efficiency and add value. You wil have the opportunity to serve as a liaison between the Customer Digital Experience Team, the Brand Strategy, Advertising & Media team, and the Customer Technology team in the Digital Transformation and Technology (DTT) Department. You will work with a team of other analysts, engineers, and external vendors to provide technical solutions that meet our customer and business needs for consumer brand experiences including launching and growing Chick-fil-A's merchandise and consumer packaged goods ecommerce digital experience. In this role, you will support the platform, work with multiple vendors, and work with both business and technical users to define requirements, solve complex problems, and demonstrate good judgment in creating solutions. You will perform independent work with the business to assist with building and supporting the various systems and initiatives for ecommerce and consumer brand experiences. You will play a vital role on the team as you solve business problems and work on solutions from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements and create documentation and resources for system implementations, changes, and issues.
  • Analyze and evaluate the current business processes; identify areas of improvement.
  • Serve as a trusted partner managing the relationship and demystifying technology for multiple business partners in Chick-fil-A's Marketing Department.
  • Leverage technical understanding and business acumen to translate broad business requirements into features, enhancements and bug fixes.
  • Manage support and maintenance of business systems.
  • Manage the implementation of changes and issue resolution.
  • Work with outside vendors and manage changes to those specifications to meet strategic goals and objectives.
  • Lead projects independently.
  • Effectively communicate with others to understand specific processes, deliver technical and functional requirements, and meet success criteria for delivering solutions across several teams and products.
  • Collaborate and interact with developers, stakeholders, system architects and various subject matter experts to manage the implementation of changes and issue resolution.
  • Lead fiscal management of vendors and projects to effectively deliver outcomes and results.

  • Knowledge and experience with Agile development approaches and techniques
  • Experience driving teams and management to decisions
  • Ability to understand business needs and translate them to functional/technical requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent personal and relational intelligence
  • Demonstration of leadership and strong collaboration
  • Ability to quickly learn and comprehend technical systems and concepts
  • Skilled in applying technology concepts and best practices for web development and API integrations
  • Self-starter who completes responsibilities with minimal supervision

  • Strong decision-making skills with the ability to collaborate and make decisions in the gray

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with UX/UI design, web development, digital merchandise systems, JIRA, Digital Technology, Marketing, customer and data privacy, and security systems
  • Experience with Product Ownership/Product Management
  • Experience with or certification in Business Analysis practices like BABOK, CCBA, IIBA -AAC
