As a Senior Business Analyst in the Strategic Pricing organization at Micron Technology Inc., your role would encompass the following key responsibilities.
Long Term Agreement Program Administration
You will manage the data collection and analysis for Micron's Long Term Agreement initiative. This program focuses on securing volume supply & purchase commitments at Micron's most critical accounts. In this role you'll be identifying and implementing process improvements, including leveraging existing tools/data sets, and building new ones. You'll be working with Sales and the Business Units in preparing regular updates, including identifying key insights for stakeholders. Success in this role requires Expert Excel skills, strong data analysis skills, and excellent facilitation and collaboration between global stakeholders.
Key Stakeholder Communication
You will be expected to communicate and collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders both within and outside the strategic pricing organization. You will be hosting regular meetings to communicate your analysis and findings and share those insights cross-functionally with sales, pricing, marketing, and internal executives.
Market Intelligence Analysis
You will conduct research and analysis of the DRAM, NAND & SSD markets through collaboration with both internal and external teams. This will involve compiling & synthesizing both quantitative and qualitative market data from various internal and external sources (e.g. industry reports, equity reports, pricing trends, demand / supply trends).
Negotiation Strategy Support
You will create presentation materials that involve synthesizing and compiling internal and external data on key accounts for supporting Sales and Business Unit Pricing during strategic negotiation meetings. Over time, you will be expected to develop a comprehensive understanding of pricing processes and business negotiation strategies.
New Tool Development
You will also be responsible for creating new data insights and dashboards in Excel or other business intelligence software. You will create tools that can parse out useful data insights from various Micron internal databases in support of key account negotiations, long term agreements, executive review meetings, etc.
Qualifications and Experience:

• Strong technical skills for data analysis and presentation
  • Expert in Excel including capabilities with complex formulas such as arrays and Index(Match) and use of tables for managing large data sets
  • Capable with SQL query writing and Microsoft PowerQuery
  • Experience with BI software such as PowerBI and SSMS
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com, MS Word and PowerPoint
• An engineering or business degree with strong academic performance. MBA is desirable.
• 5+ years of experience in program/project management, strategic marketing, sales finance, pricing, strategic marketing or consulting
• Semiconductor industry experience a plus
• Creative and critical thinker with strong analytical and financial skills
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts
• Experience working in global, cross-functional teams
• Excellent attention to detail & follow-through skills
• Excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
• Broad thinking that can look holistically across orgs/data to come up with implications

The Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires that Micron Technology provide the compensation range offered for this position is performed in Colorado. The base salary range for this position in Colorado
is $119,000.00 to $241,000.00
