Senior Business Analyst Job Summary

Location: Remote

Schedule: 8am-5pm PST

Start Date: ASAP

Work Schedule: Normally 40 hours a week

Interview process: 3 interviews - 1) 45 min Tech Meeting, 2) 45 min zoom, 3) 30 min zoom

Responsibilities:
• Support the company's growthby understanding business leaders' goals and objectives, developing analytic requirements, providing answers to business questions, making recommendations, and joining forces in driving business improvement and optimization
• Use data to tell a story. Conduct in-depth analytics to identify actionable insights, suggest experimentation ideas, make recommendations, and influence the direction of the business by effectively communicating findings toglobalcross-functional groups
• Build multifaceted and rich dashboards. Show results in easy to understand visualizations that help our partners understand their business and its drivers
• Build end-to-end data solutions from analytic-designed data sets to the design, development and implementation of enterprise-wide views, dashboards and custom reports
• Build and craft sophisticated SQL queries, dashboards in tableau and be able to handle exploratory and broad analysis with limited supervision

Requirements:
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in an analytics role working with online, customer-facing products
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field or a Bachelor's degree with highly relevant experience
• Expert proficiency in SQL. Experience with Redshift/AWS. You need to be super comfortable with pulling, joining, re-shaping and analyzing large, disparate and highly sophisticated datasets
• Expertise with data visualization tools Tableau and presenting reports in Tableau dashboards
• Working knowledge of statistical techniques such as linear regression, correlation and A/B testing
• Experience with A/B testing in the context of developing products
• Experience with at least one scripting language like Python / R. General programming proficiency
• Track record of projects spanning the full analytics lifecycle: ideation, data preparation, insights generation and modeling, operationalization, pre-post results tracking and quantification of business value
• The ability to work autonomously and make critical decisions independently. Proven communication and collaboration skills; willingness to take the initiative to contribute beyond basic responsibilities
• Postgrad degree in Business Analytics is a plus
