We are looking for an experienced individual, to work within our Enterprise Solutions Group in the role of Supply Chain Systems Business Analyst. The individual will bring expertise, knowledge, and experience to the team as a key contributor responsible for the global rollout of Oracle Cloud Supply Chain (Procurement) Modules for NOV.

The candidate will interface with business users, our system integrator and business analysts within the NOV global network and work in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple tasks to deliver a quality world class ERP to our business users. The position combines business knowledge and an understanding of the inner-workings and configuration options of Oracle Cloud Procurement modules to deliver best practices, integrated, efficient and effective solution which complies with all appropriate policy, regulation and legislation requirements. This role will also facilitate and improve communication between business and technical resources.

Essential Functions include:

  • High level understanding of the big picture from a global design perspective
  • Excellent critical thinking skills to help address and resolve business issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of users.
  • Research ways to identify those that can best help serve the needs of clients.
  • Gather requirements, create design documents, and perform impact analysis for application changes.
  • Plan and organize tasks, report progress, and manage and coordinate with consultants for implementations.
  • Develop solutions to leverage Oracle applications functionality for the Oracle Supply Chain Suite of Modules
  • Interpret and convert data based on business requirements and shepherd the data for delivery.
  • Work with existing systems to track and manage issues and enhancement opportunities.
  • Create test plans, test cases, test scripts and performs functional testing.
  • Understand and modify the Application Configuration as required (includes system setups, flex-fields, profile options, etc.)
  • Conduct user sessions for requirement and testing


Qualifications

  • 4-10 years of experience Implementing Oracle Supply Chain (Procurement) Modules are required
  • Knowledge of Oracle SQL
  • Knowledge of core Oracle Cloud Supply Chain modules
  • Demonstrate experience in the setup, configuration, and Integration of Oracle Cloud
  • Demonstrate understanding of Oracle Cloud application's architecture, data structures and functionality
  • Prepared detailed functional specifications for, interfaces, reports, conversions, personalization's
  • Background or practical experience in Supply Chain Management



Please note that knowledge of Supply Chain Management (Planning, Procurement) is very important as this role independently works with the Business and Development team to automate and improve business processes.

Non-technical skills for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or related field(s)
  • Functional knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Planning.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are REQUIRED
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills are also required
