Sr. Business Analyst - People Technology

The Role
Be responsible for analyzing the business needs of stakeholders to help identify business requirements and propose solutions. You will seek data-driven insights to attract, develop, and retain great people to power and grow Addepar. You will support and scale our people reporting and people analytics within the Addepar People team. You will work with the People technology leader and stakeholders to develop the tools and insights for our people and decision-makers. You will coordinate and perform testing for new functionality as well as updates to configurations and provide post-implementation/change support to our client groups. You'll be an advisor, consultant, project manager, technology promoter, data analyst, and security/privacy advocate. Functional areas include, but not limited to, Workday HCM, talent & performance, absence management, security administration, process design, reporting & analytics.
As part of our hybrid work model, you can be located anywhere in the US; however, you must be willing to travel to our Mountain View, CA or New York City offices at least once quarterly.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their business needs and challenges; deliver robust solutions
- Partner with internal business teams to define processes and system requirements; execute on those implementation projects
- Work with various end-user groups to define project metrics
- Collaborate with internal teams to design, build, deploy, and support solutions using Workday or other HR systems (requirements documentation, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution)
- Work closely with our Corp Eng team to maintain and build new integrations inbound and outbound from Workday HCM
- Provide subject matter expertise for Workday configurations, integrations, identifying impacts, and triaging issues due to bugs, functional changes, outages, etc.
- Plan, prioritize, and deliver systems enhancements while maintaining support
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience of refining and re-engineering business processes
- 3+ years of experience in end to end Workday HCM
- Experience delivering systems solutions across the full implementation lifecycle
- Experience implementing HR systems, including HCM and ATS
- Experience managing full life cycle solution design
- Experience working with survey data, text analytics, and other forms of unstructured data
- Project management experience, partner management experience and very comfortable working with all levels of an organization
- Ability to deal with ambiguity in a rapidly changing business environment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
